Brighton Pride Are you ready?
As the end of the month approaches we are gearing up for the celebration of the UK’s biggest Pride festival, which marks the 25 year anniversary of Pride being in our City of Brighton. Pride is loved locally and is a great celebration of our vibrant LGBT community. The 2015 Pride event takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August, with the LGBT Community Pride Parade kicking off at 11am on Saturday. The parade is one of the highlights of the year here in Brighton with colour and dancing lining the streets. The parade makes its way from Hove lawns along the sea front and finishes at Preston Park where the main Pride Festival takes place, promising performances by DJs and artists, including the internationally known; Fatboy slim, Paloma Faith, Blue, Boy George and Katy B. There will also be a funfair and stalls as well as a family area so all the children can also get involved in the fun celebration. Tickets are selling quickly so pick up yours today and be part of this exciting event. http://www.brighton-pride.org/tickets.php
