Brighton i360 Lift off!
Brighton is well on its way to having a new iconic building and us at Kemp Townhouse can’t wait to see it completed. At 162 metres high, and with an observation pod which will rise to 138 metres, the Brighton i360 will be the tallest observation tower outside the Capital, offering a new perspective on the fun loving seaside city of Brighton & Hove. Located at the end of the historic West Pier on the seafront, the i360 has a slender, elegant design, with a futuristic pod allowing 200 visitors at any one time to enjoy the stunning surrounding seaside views. The inspiration for the i360 came from husband and wife architect team, David Marks and Julia Barfield who famously design the London Eye. The tower will open in summer 2016, when the pod has been built and added to the tower and the visitor centre is completed. The i360 will also have a restaurant, shop, children’s play zone, exhibition space, cafe and conference facilities.
